The butter steak is very good but everything here is pricey

Hookah and drinks were alright. They didn't mix my drink properly and the flavour was all at the bottom. It was also warm. It is a nice place to sit but when we told the waiter the hookah was not working properly, he told us \as girls our lungs arent strong enough to blow smoke

Food is good here albite expensive, they have a lot of lebanese based foods as well a a lot of good beef dishes. If you use your UBC card you get a 20% discount, making it the restaurant which offers the biggest discount to peephole who work in the Palas Complex.

Later edit: they’ve apologized for this and gave us a 10% discount card. The service was very nice, especially from the man overseeing all the tables, making sure everything is ok. The meze was good, but my wife didn’t like the main course (beyti) at all, the meat was dry and hard, not tasty (she had in the past much better beyti in Turkey). ———————————————————- I just called to make a reservation for Christmas Day and the person answering was extremely rude. When I asked if they’re open for Christmas, he said with an ironic condescending tone “Is this a question?”, and then when I asked if reservations are needed, he again said with a very rude, patronizing, lecturing and angry tone “Obviously they are needed!”. What’s wrong with this place? How can you talk this way to people? Who do you think you are?

Not tasty food, dirty tablecloths, and even when we asked them to clean it, they did nothing. Disappointed, doesn't worth the money.

Lovely ambiance, live music and excellent food - that is a typical Saturday evening. A good place for lunch and dinner.

Very good food, the atmosphere is amazing, soft music in just the right volume. The staff is very polite and nice. The Irish stake was very good and so was the stake with foei grass.

Good food and I like having the option to order half a portion for some of the items in their menu. You won't leave feeling hungry and it's more economical (prices are a bit high otherwise, and something that can't be avoided when it comes to ordering drinks). Can't recommend the frappe coffee (it was very bitter).
