A quiet place on a hill, with a great view over the water. The landscape is great even during the winter. There is an \animal healing cross\ here for those with ill animals. Also, the food we had at lunch was delicious: fresh fish soup with vegetables, fried fish with boiled potatoes and garlic. Great!

Very lively place. I do recommend the bench that you can find in the little Zen garden. The view is breathtaking. The walk for the holy spring is worth it as well. Very special place.

A wonderful, quiet place where you can come and have a religious experience in an amazing community or just enjoy the views and pet the many cats. The priests are warm and really take the time to listen. There's also a healing spring said to have appeared when Saint Andrew stroke the earth with his staff. Four stone crosses were re-discovered in the area after the Romanian Independence War and they are also said to produce miracles. You can find one of them in the chapel - this one heals the people and \grants\ wishes. Another one is outside the church and is said to heal the animals. There are a lot of legends surrounding the area: - a deaf-mute shepherd was healed after sleeping near one of the stone crosses; - the crosses miraculously appeared after 4 christians were martyred; - one of the most important priests (\Părintele Elefterie\) was healed after sleeping under an icon of Mary and touching the healing stone cross. It's a bit hard to get there (especially if you don't own a car) but it's worthwhile.
