Nice place but one cannot get close to the water or walk on the dam, this is probably the only dam that people cannot walk on and I have visited quite a few. Surely they are not afraid of people bombing, on Hoover dam in USA for example anybody can walk or drive on and there is no checkpoint; also if the Uzului dam cannot withstand 50 to 100 people on, than they and all the valley down the stream have a much bigger issue!

Not allowed to visit at the moment. Only can be seen from the street. So quiet there, not crowdy at all
One of the most impressive dam in Romania, no doubt! The lanscape is spectacular, the water is deep and clear and the valley is awesome! I thought about all these when I've visited this location - who will need some new investments very fast...

This is gorgeous place, needs to visit everyone that pass by. The road to this dig is really bad but this place deserves to be visited! Your eyes will not believe that this place is real :D
The landscape is wow. Too bad the visitors can't acces the top of the dam.
The area is very nice, but you can only see the dam from above, as acces in the dam area is restricted.
