Not skilled with short haircuts. I've had my hair very short for about half my life, but I had let it grow out and wanted to go short again. The appointment started by taking me to the sink for a wash, without an initial consultation about my desired haircut. There should always be a consultation while your hair is dry and in its natural state. Problem 2: With my hair soaking wet sitting in the chair now doing the consultation, I showed pictures of the haircut I wanted, and the stylist said, "No." I said, "What do you mean 'no?'" And she said, "You have curly hair and it won't look good." I said, "I've had very short hair most of my life. Please cut it." During the appointment, I gave feedback, such as, "Please go shorter in the back," which she did, and "Please keep the front long," which she did not follow. I asked two or three times to keep the front longer, and within 30 seconds, SNIP!, more would come off the front. I asked if she had a thinning tool, which I have always had used to keep up my short hair because it's very thick. "No, you don't need it," she said. My final complaint is that the salon smells terribly like cigarette smoke, but perhaps that's normal in Bucharest. This salon may be fine if you are into having long hair with a blowout, but I would not recommend it for anything trendy, contemporary, or for people with short or curly hair.

I came out looking like a plastic doll after underlining that I don't want too much make-up, and that I want (and showed the make- up artist) exactly the make-up I wanted her to do. In the end I got something completely different, and the price did not match the price that I had found online. Ultimately I had to pay 100 RON more. Additionally, the make-up artist decided to eat onions right before the appointment, so I had to sit for an hour and smell onions every time she had to blow on my face to get rid off excess make-up. I also came for hair styling, which in the end turned out exactly how I wanted it to be, and for a hair appointment at the salon I would definitely return. Furthermore, I made the appointment on a Sunday through facebook, and straight away I received a response from the salon. I really appreciate this, as I know that the salon is not open on Sundays.
