An otherwise fine resort back in the days, it is now mostly a retreat for the aged. Rather difficult to reach without a car, and parking is very crowded. Food is not particularly great, and service could be better although some employees are really helpful and kind. Good internet access, though, and the surroundings are breathtaking.

The room is quite OK, a bit crowded if you travel with a boy of 2 years old (this was because of the 2 armchairs in the room). It would have been nice if they would pay attention to details as they can make the difference. Breakfast was a repeat every 2 days and few choices. I was expecting a bit more for a 3* hotel. The hotel is at the top of a hill, therefor if you drink a bit more than you might have some issues going back.
The place is nice and cozy! Services need to be a little more faster and reliable. There is an interest of the administration which fails due to the waiters, housemaids, and so on. They didn't care about what am I eat how do I sleep and things like that. Instead first noon was with a nice fire and meal was cooked outdoors! Nice but the sincron with other stuff was awful. O All after all if you are a fan of nature you can skip the humans mistakes and fatty!
I find this hotel a great place for accommodation because is clean and offer a great place for serving the breakfast also the meal is very tasty. This hotel offer a wellness place for relaxing, swimming pool with hot water, jacuzzi. What I did not like was the fact that there are not enough parking spaces.
For a 3 star hotel is quite good, the staff is welcoming and kind.
Each year is better than the previous, this year I see they've upgraded the rooms furniture. Better mattresses, better overall. Nice and friendly staff!!! I think this hotel is at the highest altitude among the hotels in Baile Herculane, best views. Pictures made from 9th floor. Having a spa helps also :) Recommended!
