A nice place to take a walk. Also it offers a wide variety of bars and restaurants. Good for every taste.

Nice place, specially in the evening. Crowded, lot of restaurants, coffees, people walking. A lot of bikes and electric bikes. The floor is not very well mentioned.
It's not exactly what you expect to find in an old town. There is still a lot of work to be done.

The Ovidiu Square is a symbol of the city of Constanța. It is a pretty place, not outstanding but beautiful enough. The promenade consists in the Museum of National History and Archeology, old historical buildings and the pedestrian area on the edges of which are many restaurants and coffee shops. Sometimes there are cultural events, especially in the summer evenings. The place is pretty crowded, but mostly in the summertime. Also, there are plenty of tourist spots in the neighbourhood, amongst which Tomis Harbour, the Casino of Constanța and the genovese lighthouse. The square is unkempt at some places, so I would say that there is enough room for infrastructural improvement. Anyways, there is a generally pleasant atmosphere and I recommend going for a walk around here, alone or with your beloved one(s), maybe enjoying some coffee and a good meal.
