This Cathedral is astonishing beautiful. The entire inside is painted with scenes of Christ's life, Saint's, and other scenes from the Bible. There are incredible and beautiful Icons and Saint's Relics. In front there are ancient Roman ruins.

Interesting painting outside at the entrance. It is about the purgatory that the usual the orthodox don't have! ... Probably was built on roman ruins as Christians did all over . You can spot Roman ruins near it

It is good to know the differences between Orthodox and Catholic to appreciate what is inside - for instance no sculptures.

Historical site in Constanta, by the Black Sea. Constructed in Greco-Roman style between 1883 and 1885, the church was severely damaged during World War II and was restored in 1951. The interior murals display a neo-Byzantine style combined with Romanian elements best observed in the iconostasis and pews, chandeliers and candlesticks (bronze and brass alloy), all designed by Ion Mincu and completed in Paris.
