The Centre for Resources in Energy Efficiency and Climate Change (CREESC) is an association founded in 2014 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, with the purpose to provide technical support for public and private entities in their efforts to advance energy efficiency policies, plans and investments and promote models of best practice for the integration of energy solutions, behavioral change and effective implementations. CREESC reunites companies and experts from a wide range of energy related sectors, such as ESCOs, construction companies, building services , climate change experts, architects, environmental economists, energy financiers. CREESC mission is to provide all the necessary means, in terms of resources, capacities and expertise, in order to accelerate investments in the private and public energy efficiency markets and make use of existing funding sources. The group and its members promote energy efficiency by conducting energy audits, opportunity and feasibility studies, assessing the current situation of the building stock and technologies, identifying public and private financing sources, increasing the standards of deep renovation, providing trainings, developing local policies and investment programs, elaborating on the use of economic instruments in energy efficiency.
