Really great campsite! I enjoyed that it's a small one because it was more private and relaxing. The toilets were really clean and the shower water was hot, not just a bit warm. The host was actually really hospitable. I was not bothered at all by the passing trains or cars. Definitely recommend!

Nice, clean, cozy, not crowded place. The only one in this area with these conditions. The host was very pleasant. Had a great Time.

Great. All facilities. Open in winter unlike other campgrounds in the area.

Amazing and very friendly staff that helped me sort out a lot of different thing. Little pool helps in the hot days, showers and bathroom are clean. Great food at the restaurant, accommodates vegetarian/vegan diets.

We came off season... So things were not ready and it looked a bit like a construction side. Owner is a nice guy, speaks german and english very well. During the season I'm sure its a nice OK campsite.

The place is clean, has a small swimming pool and generally is ok. An aspect which you need into consideration is location, it's quite far from city center and from all starting points to hike.

Reply to the LIAR (owner): For your information, STOP sign means stop, give way and drive. It does not mean: do not enter. I was tired and didn’t notice the sign, also didn’t want to park in the middle of the drive way, so I drove in, turned around, parked next to another fellow motorcyclist (lovely Austrian chap that I met two days before) and took of my helmet, that’s when the (lying) owner arrived and started shouting. Please don’t lie that I unloaded my luggage etc. You are just a rude person, I hope my review will discourage other travellers to stay at your place and that you will learn hospitality. If you don’t know how to be kind to people you have no business running a camping. DONT GO THERE!!! Fawlty Towers but with the fun stuff out. Run by a very unfriendly German \ordnung muss sein\, uber-arschloch individual. After a long and hot day on a motorbike we drove into the camping, turned around and stopped. We were greeted by: THE MEANING OF THE STOP SIGN OVERE THERE WAS THAT YOU STOP AND WAIT TO BE LET IN! Huh? After that it got only worse. He picked a specific place for our tent (on a completely empty ground!), than he complained that our stuff is laying around too much (while we were still pitching the tent!), finally we were asked 20 lei for a bottle of juice (that costs 6 lei in a bar!). We stayed only because there was nothing else around. It was fun to watch as he was instructing other arriving guest to park their cars in specific places or rearrange a caravan three times. It really was the most unpleasant treatment ever.

Campsite a bit below average. Generally OK but missing here and there. There is electricity available, but just one post, six sockets so don't be late! ;) Acceptable lawn, bathrooms below average (clogged shower drain, no towel rack but toilet paper available and rather clean inside). Just two benches with tables available if you choose not to go to the bar (the bar looks good and serves home food though, I felt a little disappointed that I brought my own food which would go off if I did not eat it). Very heavy traffic just outside the fence (there is a house in between the tent area and the street though which blocks some of the noise), I personally did not mind, but for some people it may be too loud. Also ca. 10 trains passing by daily, extremely noisy but fortunately not frequent. Next door there is a restaurant, I was unlucky to come on a wedding day so I expected the worst in the way of noise. Fortunately it was barely audible (except for a short burst of firewirks at 1 a.m.). Expensive: 50 lei in a tent for a solo traveller. Reply to the owner's comment below: towel racks are missing by the wash basins, please consider. As for the clogged shower drain I did not inform the reception because I got accustomed to the fact that drains are almost always clogged in the Balkan countries and did not have much hope of anyone repairing this. Anyway I was aready AFTER the shower ;)
