The food, the location and spa/pool facilities were good. We stayed there for 1 night and the room we had was not clean. Dust was all over furniture and the bathroom needed cleaning. I think they should clean the toilets and the rest of the bathroom after every guest, in our room it didn't look clean. I would visit this place again, but only for food and spa/pool, but I would not stay overnight. I think for this price you could find better overnight stay. They really need to work on properly cleaning the rooms after each guest. And yea, the staff is not wearing masks.

I have to say, I was very surprised at the professional operation that I witnessed when visiting Valley Cristian. The food, every dish that passed by our table looked amazing. The portions were excellent, you will not leave hungry, the menu is extensive and the taste of each dish is superb. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff was on point, the manager is present at all times and this woman is a delight. There are many activities on site as well as a hotel with a beautifully kept po and grounds. I was so impressed by this place we all decided to make it a regular spot for outings. Its only 50 minutes by car from where I live so its a perfect spot to eat then hike through the beautiful surrounding mountains.
None of the staff are wearing masks, All the personnel that got out of the kitchen were without masks. So, besides not respecting the Romanian sanitary law, they have no respect for their customers.
Very nice place, located in a beautiful area wiith fresh montain air. You can find here everyth what you need, pension, restaurant, terracce, pool, tenis, a perfect recteation for a weekend or even more. Parking place avaible and also place for kids.
Okay and diverse food. Nice surroundings. Not a place to look for peace and quiet. Unkempt logistics like pingpong table and paddles. The small stuff also matter. And now the really bad part: I ended up almost staying in a super small room with a "balcony" actually being a steep roof and almost zero view (the side of a yard), although their email specified "mountain view". I managed to change the room for a slightly better one (still no panorama), but I still had to spend the last night in the room mentioned at the beginning. I would recommend taking that room off the offer or putting it at a supersmall price.

Was one of the most awesome experience when it comes to hotels/motels. The personal was lovely and always helpful, food is amazing. Traditional yet modern, with jacuzzi and sauna. Great place to spend some time. Sorounding places are absolutely beautiful, great mountain paths from easy to expert, and awesome caves too. Over all you can count on the 'Casa Bucatarului'. Thank you for this awesome experience.
Was very beautiful but the food was very little.next time i will try the pool. Its a very nice place
