A medium rated experience. Not a 4* hotel. Outside pool too small for 200 rooms and also not enough tables outside. If you are not lucky enough to find an empty table you need to wait quite a long time. In the room you don't have normal glasses. If you want to have a drink you need to use the plastic cups. We needed to ask at the reception when the cleaning ladies are coming to switch the touls and fill the soap/shampoo bottle from the bathroom. One bottle from the fridge was half empty and no one replaced it. If you have all inclusive service, you need to stay in line quite a lot because from time to time they run out of plates and forks etc. They have only 2 coffe machines which are not enough for at least 100 people. The best thing was the food from the "a la carte" menu. It tastes very good and the prices are quite ok. They charged a pretty high price per night given the fact that you can't use the indoor facilities. 3* hotel maximum.

Cleaning is a privilege in this 4 star hotel. Towels were not replaced for 2 days. Garbage was not colected for 2 days. The room was filthy the moment I’ve checked in. The electric plug was not working. Even so I did go to the reception to tell them that my room was dirty, tge cleaning lady did not do anything about it. I don’t recommend this hotel.

Booked an apartment with a jacuzzi tub in November. The weather was cold outside. Considering that, the following issues we had with our stay were really felt 1. Heating worked intermittently. We got cold during the night. When we returned from the sauna, the room was cold, and we had to stay with our jacket on 2. The faucet, shower and bathtub water did not come warm. It was lukewarm at best. We signaled the above two problems to the front desk. They offered to change the room to a similar one, but the same issues were found there as well. As a bonus, we also found some dead insects. The front desk sent someone over and cleaned them, but it wasn't pleasant to see them. Overall, I think we might have gotten a better stay somewhere else in Baile Herculane, and probably cheaper, but we wanted a room with a large jacuzzi bath. Due to the reasons I listed above, we could not use it, so it was a bad stay
Very good location. Very good service. There are wonderful inside pools with salted water and jacuzzi. The room is good with a small balcony to admire the mountains and listen to the swallow concert. Delightful. The service is very good. Everything is nice. Recommend.
The water is not hot just warm, not enough for taking a bath in the hottub for which we are paying extra. We have insects inside the room, the smelly ones. I would say it is more a 3 start hotel... or getting there! Will check the spa this evening and come back with another review Update: the spa was ok, not great, not bad... two saunas out of 4 were working. The shower gel was missing from the shower or the hand soap and there was a bad smell of feet at the hot tub...the place has a nice design, and there were few people in there at the same time we went. There is a schedule that each has to follow and also disinfection twice a day, from what I read on the board found at reception The restaurant: we had breakfast included, and it was very good, a sweedish buffet with everything you wanted. At lunch we had to choose something from the poor menu, and I chose a salad: Afrodita, thinking it must be the best of the chef's, baring the name of the hotel...wait for it! instead of parmesan it had a stinky goat cheese.. and the waiter insisted it is parmesan...which he then he took back, got the cheese off the plate ...somehow... grated some parmesan (this time the good one) but I could not eat it anymore... Regarding the room conditions: for the cold inside the room we received a radiator (totally unsafe) and we were offered another room, but the situation was similar inside there as well: water slightly warm, not hot, room was cold, and also bugs...
