A very popular monastery in Maramureș. It definitely worth a visit.

The monastery is amazing, it is so beautiful that it gives you the impression that you live in a fairy tale.

Very nice experience to see the well maintained wooden church and houses.

This place is amazing, you can see the bishop's house from far away looking like a usual house. Only when you see the church and the actual house you realise the beauty of such a complex. It is worth visiting even if you are not close by...

Too beautiful for words! It's totally worth the long journey if you are not local. Be careful not to miss the big church built on top of the small one: a genuine small-scale wooden cathedral if I have ever seen one! Marvelous innovative architecture! And bear in mind that everything is kept in shape by only 10 nuns!

Great place to visit and relax with your family and friends. The church is old and rustic and the surrounding area is very well kept with a relaxing vibe. Unfortunately, due to Covid regulations we could not visit the churche's tower, but we still enjoyed the sight

Came by bike, once I arrived in the yard I was aggressively approached by a nun; she told me that I cannot walk (I wasn't riding the bike but walking with it) with the bike in the park. Too bad such terrible people are allowed to ruin such a nice place.
