A dreamy place with an interesting history and beautiful surroundings. At the second floor you can visit temporary exhibitions and if you want to take some moments to relax, the restaurant there has a wonderful view. All in all, I would revisit it as soon as possible.

Good food with a view! Loved the onion soup, the hot wine and the service. It's the third time I come here... for the vibe especially. The weather was fine but if it's too cold, the heaters are doing a good job. The peak hour is around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, but we were lucky. If you wait for a table ( which never happened), it's worthing visit the museum.
Not very well known, but you can book the former \Hunter's Lodge\ villa of the castle recently (2018?) refurbished. The inside is clean and well kept. The outside of the villa is so good looking that some tourists tried to enter the location thinking it's part of the visitable area of the castle. Outside business hours, you are basically alone in the castle's garden (that is, not counting the occasional bear who may come visit about 9PM or later, they seem to like dining very late this time of year). There is a small kitchen in the villa but cooking is not really possible (unless you only need a microwave). That should be fine, since you have 2 restaurants very close in the yard (Nababu' for traditional Romanian food, decently priced - and the \fine dining-ish\ and quite expensive Cantacuisine). The Nespresso machine with plenty of capsules will come very handy. Sleep quality was a 7/10 the bed in the large bedroom was quite hard. Breakfast is actually a max. 50 lei \voucher\ for the Cantacuisine restaurant - meaning if more than 50 lei you have to pay the difference, if less than 50 lei ... you're good to go! Strongly recommended not to take the breakfast option and just order whatever you want to eat. The trouble with the restaurant is that it opens at 10:00 AM, in reality more like 10:30 AM so if you want to get up early and do some hiking better get your breakfast from someplace else.
It's a special place. Should be on the must visit list. The food from the restaurant was 8/10, just because of the price. Other then that, very good.
It was okay, maybe in the warm season it is much better. If the weather is bad it is not much you can see. Very cold and windy outside. To enter inside the building it will cost 40 RON, inside the garden it will cost 12 RON.
Entry to the sculpture gardens 12 lei. Worth it. Nice to wander round and see the different sculptures. You can go inside the courtyard where there is a souvenir shop. Gets busier closer to midday.

The Cantacuzino Castle it's must see. If. You are nearby, you shoukd visit those beautiful places, even in the winter.
