Rude staff, they hide flaws with their products and refuse to refund your money. Do not recommend at all.
I've only had good experiences here. Friendly and helpful staff. Great prices on Conti tires and wide selection of parts and gear.
I bought one tyre from them wich was cut on the side wall. I noticed that home and the very next day I demanded a refund. They said is imposible and it is my fault that I didn't checkd the tyre before buying. I started to argue with them and they bacame violent. AVOID VELOTECA WITH ALL COSTS....

I've been to the shop last evening and bought a bike after receiving advice from the Veloteca representative as well as many other dealers. A proof of good will can be the fact that the rep initially advised me to go for a 40% cheaper version of the bike because the expensive one did not fit me perfectly (it's an L and I'm at the limit with 1.77m) I chose to go with the model I liked because I was encouraged to test the product, received very good advise and in the end had the possibility to confidently choose one. The bike was tuned by the service guys to my height and weight, as well as some other tweaks and I was advised to come back after one month for the final tune ups (on the house) Overall a great experience! Thanks and see you soon! P.S. I tend to think that most of the bad reviews are from an old viral youtube video due to the specific pattern of the reviews. Personal opinion: one bad review, does NOT a bad bike shop make -------------- Am fost aseara si am cumparat o bicicleta dupa ce m-am sfatuit atat cu reprezentatul Veloteca cat si alti dealeri. O dovada de BUNE intentii ar fi faptul ca mi se recomanda initial o bicicleta cu 40% mai ieftina pentru ca cea pe care o vroiam eu nu era la marimea optima pentru mine. Am ales sa merg cu un model de la Merida vandut de Veloteca pentru ca mi s'a oferit ocazia de a testa produsul, am primit sfaturi pertinente si am putut alege produsul cel mai potrivit pentru mine. Bicicleta a fost reglata la inaltimea si greutatea mea, mici ajustari unde era cazul si am fost sfatuit sa vin peste o luna pentru reglaje finale. O experienta foarte buna per total. Multumesc, mai revin :) P.S. Tind sa cred ca majoritatea reviewurilor negative vin de la un clip viral de pe youtube. Personal, consider ca o experienta proasta a unei singure persoane nu ar trebui sa defineasca munca sau calitatea serviciilor unei organizatii.
