I recently completed an amazing solo 10-day tour of Transylvania (and side/day-trip to Bulgaria) with UnzipRomania. Words cannot express how wonderful my lovely guides Diana and Cristian were! From my first email to the company, until my airport drop off - every interaction, detail and moment of the tour was great. I felt comfortable and in very capable hands/company at all times. There is no way I would have been able to see half the sites and places I was taken in the time I had, nor learn so much about Romania and its incredible history (and current affairs), without Unzip/Cristian and Diana. I was able to customize the tour for the sites and events I wanted, and also to modify plans as needed to utilize the good weather etc. The hotel accommodations and restaurant recommendations were lovely, and the costs were all very reasonable. It will be very tough to enjoy big group tours after being so spoiled as a solo traveler and having this incredible experience! I would absolutely recommend anyone considering travel to Romania book a tour (of any length!) with UnzipRomania - you will not be disappointed!!
