University Square is located in downtown Bucharest, near the University of Bucharest. It is served by Universitate metro station. Pedestrians can cross the streets only by University Passage, constructed in the socialist period during the development of M2 metro thoroughfare and leading, as well, to a metro station. It’s a very beautiful place, nice for a walk admiring historical buildings.

University Square is situated in the heart of Bucharest. You can find coffee places, restaurants amongst old and new architecture. Enjoy a stroll and in the sights. Early morning or evenings are best.

Nice place to grab your morning coffee and watch the world go by. But there's nothing much to see in terms of touristic value. Worth a visit though as the buildings and statues are impressive. Also great when some event is on. Other than that, it's just meh. If you have limited time in the city, skip this and head to the old Town instead.

Being located in downtown Bucharest, this is a traditional landmark meeting place in the city center. The phrase "see you at the Clock, at the University" is well known by natives as this place was traditionally the easiest spot to find, known by everybody living in the city.

The center of the capital, beautiful open-space, imposing statues of marking personalities, wonderful architecture, yet .. too simple and too little for the Center of an European capital.
