Very pleasantly surprised by my recent experience with Dr. Gabriel Stefanescu and the hospital's staff. About 10 days ago I had two procedures: 2 Morton Neuroma excisions on the left foot, and a synovial cyst excision at the base of the left thumb, pretty nasty wrapped around ligaments and tendons. Dr Stefanescu performed these procedures, at the same encounter, masterfully excising both culprits. His expertise and bedside manners are excellent, listening to the patient, performing all necessary tests and bringing all information to the point where the diagnosis and solution become a clear picture. All my questions were answered promptly, either by phone or in person. On the hospital's side, all staff was very helpfull, skilled and prompt in attending to my needs, day and night, with the same smile and attention. The meals were carefully chosen, tasty and in just the right amount. The comfort and cleanliness are way above average, competing with the ones in the rest of Europe and United States, with spatious rooms, hotel like bathrooms, and modern equipment, tending to all levels of comfort.

Went for a (relatively simple) surgery . While the doctor performing the surgery was very ok, I came back from the hospital with horrible abdominal cramps. Turns out I contracted a nasty infection while I was there. My creatinine levels surged to dangerous levels (over 5) and it was through another hospital that those were diagnosed (No, they did NOT took any creatinine test while I was there). Possible permanent damage to the kidneys. Stay away from this hospital. I will consider legal options.

Probably the best private clinic in Romania, yet far from Western European standards. The administration and front desk are a disaster of incompetence and communist style attitude. The facilities are very basic. I did like, however, the medical staff who cared for me.

Recless incompetence or just they don't care about people's safety: in a full covid pandemy they make dozens of programations, overlapping them, without having the common sense of telling people (paying customers) that they'll have to wait in line, without keeping the safety restrictions in place and ofcourse without giving priority of the programations according to age, nature of control, e.g. pregnant women, ill filling patients, etc. Not seen anything like this in other private clinics, their direct competition. So, better keep away and stay safe.

Was operated here by the best doctor in that speciality. Everything went smooth. Conditions are good. The nurses were pretty aware of my needs and made sure I was comfortable. There is a large parking place under the bridge close by. If there is traffic I recommend parking before crossing the bridge at Mega Image and walking to the hospital, it's much fatser.

I will give 3 stars because of the brunette receptionist lady who spoils the medicover image through inappropriate behavior.

They don't respect the apointment timing... the delays are a min of 20 minutes. At 100 per hour for a simple consultation I expect to be treated better than this. No follow-ups, no nothing. They just don't care if you had a good/bad experience.

Pais 400lei for a doctor to come to the hospital for my child who has temperature. All he did was to measure the temp. Did not check anything else and prescribed over the counter stuff. Luckily everything was fine. Find a real doctor elsewhere if you need one.
