An oasis of peace of mind and faith in the middle of a city troubled by crowds, noise, noxious substances. Maybe we should go to these holy places more often, get a little out of our daily routine, forget for a few minutes all the problems, shortcomings and difficulties. I also recommend this experience to the young generation.

I must say that I expected something different and it was pleasant to see such church in the city centre, very close to University of Bucharest and the National Theatre. It was not as crowded as I thought it would be. But still pretty busy, and despite the fact it was freezing cold outside, many people were around the building.

Best place ever. My peace of heaven

An oasis of peace and faith in the middle of Bucharest. Was one of the stops for the pilgrims on the way to Mount Athos. The monks do not use artificial light inside the church, but only candles. Ensure you don't talk during mass, otherwise the monks will tell you off.

A small church with a wonderful garden. The mass is during mornings, 8.30 to 12.30 each religious holiday. Sometimes the church can be quite full. If you go on during weekends afternoons, can spend some nice peaceful time in there.

Went there for Palm Sunday and had a rather good time. It's in the heart of Bucharest yet cosy, quiet and seems to take you way to remoteness of monasteries up in the mountains. The priests are nice and their service is enjoyable. I suggest this place as a quiet get away form Bucharest's busy daily life.
