A very wonderful and calm place to read and study. The staff are friendly and even now during the covid19, they do their best to make sure everything is under control. There are plenty of seats available on all the storeys. Single, double as well as ones suitable for group work. It is important to register and get a magnetic card to be able to access the library whenever needed. However, be aware of the fact that some new regulations are being implemented at the moment,e.g. new fees for validating or renewing your old card. No stress, the highest fee is 50 RON. Unfortunately,THEY DONT DO C.CARDS OVER THERE , GET YOUR CASH ALONG EITH YOU!You can just keep your old card and get it validated (a one-time process) for only 20 RON. I know that this used to be totally free of charge in the past, but they do need some extra budget to cover some expenses that the current pandemic brought up. Wearing a mask is kind of mandatory when you walk between desks, coming inside or going outside(they do care about it so much so you aren't allowed in if you don't wear a mask. Or if your temp is higher than the normal) Also, be advised that you need to get your own food, lunch or snakes. The vending machines are way too expensive than the normal ones even! I don't know why they do that to students all the time :) there are enough restrooms for everyone. Special places where you can have lunch or a short break. Opening hours are flexible from 8 - 8 during week days and 9 to 6 on Saturday, CLOSED ON SUNDAYS. I wish they could last for a bit longer though. Like around 12 am or sth. That I would appreciated very much. Finally, try not to stay on the basement floor all the time, you will lose the wonderful view on the upper floor, and it is a chance not to miss. Hope this helps.

A good place to focus on your studies for free. It also looks good (the first floor at least). Unfortunately, not all the lamps are working and the natural light might not be enough at times. Only came during summer, but my colleagues froze there during late autumn and winter.

For me it is the perfect place for reading, studying, writing articles or relaxing. There is a wide open space on 3 floors with comfortable desk chairs, free WiFi etc.

Nice place to go and study... WHEN IT IS OPEN. The working hours are something they should be ashamed of, since it is open during the time when most students have courses. They also don't always publish the holiday schedule on their website. It happensd to me on several occasions to go there expecting it to be open during a holiday, since nothing was published on their website, only to find a piece of paper on the door that said they were closed until a certain date. This was especially annoying since I do need some good 45 minutes to get there.

It's nice place. Friend and I went there to study. It's free and has free WiFi. Tables also have decent lamps and phone chargers. Computers are there in certain tables. It could do with a little bit of modernizing, hence the 4 stars, but it's a nice free place to go study anyways.

Beautiful, big, modern library; easy access by metro and bus; has a big parking lot and you can find some places around. it's free to study and I consider it a great place for all young pupils and students. It is a very nice place to meet personalities at different events like the astronauts and cosmonauts and scientists I had the chance to hear, see and meet at the astronomy day! You should bring your own water and some wet tissues if you care for more cleanliness
