Although it was not my first time having dinner here, now I had a disastrous experience. Good aspects: the food is still tasty, good variety, acceptable prices To improve: mortuary atmosphere, lack of any sign of customer service, payment by card was not possible, no mask was worn by the waitress during the service. And the cherry on top: I found a baby rock in my food I was almost about to choke with, incident for which nobody apologized or asked me if I am ok. I am not sure if this place will still be on my map of places to go.

I've been going to La Copac for 6 years at least, however this was the first time during the pandemic and it was a bad idea. - the table wasn't cleaned, nor disinfected before being seated - clients were let to wander between occupied tables without their masks - on 23/01/2021, when it was forbidden to welcome clients inside, there were at least 4 tables occupied inside (extra: no windows opened) - there is a small orchestra playing in the yard from time to time - NONE of the musicians were wearing a mask and they would come next to you while seated with no kind of safe/social distance (make it 50 cm at large). - we were told that card payments aren't accepted. Why? Because that money isn't transferred on the spot. While I understand the disadvantage, mentioning that cash payments are preferred is way better than LYING. All this being sad, it's a big disappointment given that the food is kind of maintaining its quality through the years.
The place has very good Romanian cuisine. The garden is very beautiful you sit under a 200 old tree. The food is delicious. The staff is very helpful. There is also live Romanian music. Overall, a go to place . The, only negative part is the bathroom.
Although the food was really good and extremely 'Romanian', going there in a full pandemic with a mandate for wearing masks even in outdoor spaces you would expect masks to be worn. Well, no. Both the customers and the staff had no issue with not wearing one. I really felt stressed when I went to pick up our order and was relieved that we were not dining in.
The menus are quite quirky, and both inside and the terrace are very cozy. Waiters are nice buy a tad inexperienced (I visited several times over the years). Last time I waited to be seated but was ignored by waiters passing by. Seated myself outside. Was ignored. Went inside. Finally a waitress asked me nicely to not sit inside next time, because they're quite busy outside and I risk not being seen. I recommend the smoothies.
Traditional restaurant. Lovely atmosphere and location. Food is well good. I had a pork sirloin steak with caramelized onions and red sauce which was very tender. They bring bread with anything you order. The majority of the people seemed to be going for the grilled fish (they have the grill just outside in the garden) which looked also magnificent. Great experience, will def recommend. Prices are also honest. For two mains, a huge glass of wine, a smoothie and the bread we spent around 12 pounds in two
Amazing authentic romanian restaurant!
Nice restaurant serving authentic Romanian food. Waiting staff here speak a little English and can advise on dishes that might be suitable, including for vegetarians. Lost a star because the food wasn't particularly amazing. Their wine selection was good though.
