UPDATED I brought in a seriously damaged Tamron g2 70-200. Tripod fell with it and rear barrel and stabilization was severely broken. Repair procedure was explained very transparently to what degree it could be repaired without the necessary parts (which are only available for authorized services). The people working there are incredibly friendly and professional. Testing was allowed and encouraged. And, while initially I did not understand this, the service expected me to be satisfied with the repair and to provide an honest feedback about the repaired lens. Unfortunately, I misunderstood that the lens could be repaired and calibrated to be optically usable, but the damage was too extensive, and despite their efforts, without replacement parts, the result was disappointing (as I misunderstood that optically, the lens can be recovered). Looking back, it was 100% my mistake due to my ignorance to try to have it repaired instead of sending it to the manufacturer to just replace the broken parts. The mechanical shock was too severe for repairs to be possible. The service contacted me to inquire about the state of the lens, and they did not wish to charge me when they learned how disappointed I was about the images the lens produced. I've never met such polite, honest people who are so passionate about the quality of their work. Amazing service. Thank you!

They are an awesome team! The entire experience with them, all the advice given, all the things that they did, made the customer experience a perfect one! Great job guys! I brought in a damaged Nikon S1 which had a thin metal ring on the camera lens bended. I came a couple of days before the guys go on a 2 week maintenance period. Initially they said this could only be done after that 2 week period, also depending on the level of damage, but for my surprise, they called after one day and said that they fixed my camera lens and in such a way that you can't recognise where the metal was bended. They really went the extra mile to finish this before schedule and for that I raise my hat!

On top of that the people at Kamerawerk are truly passionate about what they are doing, eager to help you out, explain what's the issue and how they are going to fix it. I would gladly volunteer to brew coffee and dust the shelves, everything for such passionate and warm human beings. _

I have a nikon lens that I thought was impossible to be fixed, but I brought the lens to kamerawerk, and they did magic ! from the first phone call and later in person in the store they were able to exactly explain me the process which was seamless. I had a great experience using their services !
