Such a beautiful place to visit, at which we could have spend more time. Tour felt like rushed. I understand the guide being super used to all the items in the house but imagine a first timer who sees these things for the first time. Anyway, I plan o visiting again and then maybe again to actually spend time in the rooms. One trick to buy more time is to ask the guide questions

Impressive museum, it's a must to visit. All the luxury inside it's very well preserved. Need a reservation before the visit.

(Visited during COVID-19) It is open only from Thursday to Sunday. We called just before coming and it was ok (no one was there). Definitely worth a visit.

I went here out of curiosity to learn a thing or two on how the communist era was like and left with a mixed opinion. Everything inside is authentic with the exceptions of a few things like the A/C or the lighting equipment. The building on the outside and inside has an atmosphere that gives you a feeling on how the times back then were like or at least how the leaders of that time had it going. You can only visit in the presence of a guide, who is well informed and will talk more or less about each room that you pass through. However, the tour will be quite short or rushed unless you keep asking the guide about anything that you might want to find out about what you see there or take your time to take a few photos and look for every detail. Overall I was impressed with everything but I left with a feeling that there should be more to see.

Interesting to see the luxury of a dictator's house. I can recommend this for foreign tourists as well as local ones. No photos from the inside not to spoil the experience

A must visit place in Bucharest that offers a glimpse into the life of a communist ruler and the lifestyle of the privileged during those times. It is loaded also with history bits.

Impressive property, the guide was awesome and more than well documented on the family's history. To bad just a fraction is opened to public.
