Pretty good sweets. The ones in the cup are very complex and very very tasty. I am used to very good ice cream so I was not impressed with theirs. Also Canoli was a bit disappointing. But the (self) service is nice, the staff is friendly and the ambient is likeable.

The ice cream is tasty but service is bad. Service people are hindering them selfs...service takes to long, strange system to pay first and after to prepare an ice cream. In all parts of the world you choose 1th and pay after... recommend to learn from a good italian gelateria! Be happy to have no strong competition in Bucharest...

Arrived at this old town location on 28 Iulie around 15:00 excited to have quality gelato in extremely hot weather. The architecture and ambiance of this location was quaint and the options plentiful. Even the two female employees were hospitable and, if I had only dealt with them then this review would be different. The issue arose though when going to pay for my item. The male employee was very brash, rude, and inhospitable attempting to make me feel bad about visiting the cremerie and desiring to pay for my item. Even after complaining that I was paying cash with too large a bill (50 Ron) and opting to pay by credit card, he forcefully took my card and, after throwing my receipt at me, starred at me menacingly until I left. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT visiting this location until they learn how to properly treat their paying customers. If you want ice cream, go to the other options in old town or go to another Emilie cremerie location throughout the city. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
I asked for affogato and got coffee with milk and too much sugar with whipped cream on top. It wasn't affogato for sure and sadly also wasn't good at all.
Best ice cream i've had!! Staff was very nice, service was excellent. Overall very good experience!
