Needs some refurbishment in common areas but otherwise they provide great shows, especially for the kids

Owned and operated by the mayor's office, the Circus has just recently stopped used wild animals in their acts, which is a decent and humane thing to do, their acts being friendly and mostly child-friendly. Temporarily here take place COVID-19 vaccinations.
Great new show! New outdoor arena with all the safety measures. I highly recomend it!
Alice in the Wonderland was very visual show with good singers. Didn't actually understand anything because it was spoken in Romanian, but still it was very entertaining. It was definitely worth the about 60 leis that we paid. If you are in Bucharest you should visit the Circus!

An interesting experience for a small metropolitan circus, state owned and managed. The show - Alice in Wonderland has a very good visual impact (the sound was clear and in good sync but the volume was too loud) but is not actually for the youngest of visitors - too much singing involved and no jokesters/clowns. As an adult growing up with summer holiday circus, was a bit strange not to see any animals in the show. I must say that I agree with the current regulation, as it was cruel a cruel thing for the aninals.
