United Way Romania programs support annually over 10,500 people in difficulty, with contribution of over 3,000 individual donors, 36 major donors, 70 companies and over 1,000 volunteers. United Way Romania is affiliated to United Way Worldwide, a network of nearly 1,800 local organisations in over 40 countries. Every year, worldwide partner companies and their employees, donors and volunteers contribute with more than $ 5 billion and 25 million volunteer hours to help people in need have a better life.
