We had a wonderful experience at Pilvax. We initially stopped by for a glass of wine given that the place is also a wine bar, but we felt so welcome that we ended up spending several hours here. They have severeal wines from Transylvania and Hungary and you get to taste them before deciding what you would like to drink, which gives the place a big plus from my end. We decided to go with a Cabernet Franc from Hungary which was divine! Also tried a rose as it was recommended for one of the dishes we had - wonderful as well! The food was comfort food at its finest - we ordered veal stew with spaetzle and a tripe stew (I never eat tripe, but still tasted the dish because it smelled fantastic and loved it!). Also had the floating island for desert - real good! We will definitely visit again on our next trip to Brasov.

I'm not an expert in Hungarian cuisine, but I can still recognize ABSOLUTELY GREAT food. After trying several restaurants in Brasov, I find this one to be one of the greatest. Small variety of items in the menu, but everything we tried was brilliant. A trully tasty experience . The atmosphere was great and the waiters were very friendly. will definitely return to Pilvax
