I had a top experience here. The food was the best. Super fresh and colourfull dishes. I felt like i was in Greece or Cyprus but at my hometown. Worth a visit at least.

If you’re craving seafood, then this is the go to place in Brasov. Fresh, diverse and very well prepared. We had fried calamari and tuna carpaccio as starters and then we went for the surf and turf, shrimps in wine sauce, seafood Zarzuela, and the piece of resistance, oven baked turbot. It was one of the best dining experiences we had in a while.

We came with out reservation. They was very polite. The service very slow. The restaurant was full. Lemonade with honey very good. Ford very good: Fish and fried excellent. Mushrooms good, to salty Pita pita, good with ham, not good for vegetarian. Halloumi cheese good. Italian salad very good. The dishes very big. Prices fair

We visited the Mediterra Restaurant in august and spend 2 great hours. 1. The food. If you come to the place then you come for fresh sea food and fresh fish. Richard, the owner, gets special deliveries directly from Thessaloniki ( 900 km ) a few times a week. If you do not want to eat the trout from the local ponds with all hormones, that is probably the only place you find fresh fish in Brasov. It was divine and delicious as we were getting it in one of the Greek islands. You can of course go for other items in the menu what we did as well. They are good but that is not the reason to come here 2. The service,: I saw complaints on the slow service. our experience was opposite the service was great and very pleasant. Yes it is COVID19 Pandemia period and there are not so many visitors in the place, so I can not judge what happens when they are full. Our orders came in perfectly timed with a smile and a joke. 3. The idea behind the place: Richard spend a big part of his life in Greece and he is trying to bring the atmosphere and the experiences to Brasov. I feel that he succeeded to create something special in the very central and very competitive part of the city, 4, The price. Do not expect to pay the price of a mici with mamalyga here. The kitchen is managed by a professional Chef from Cyprus and you get the value for the money. We had 2 fresh Perches of a total weight of 1 Kg for 27 Euro!!. Bottle of great selected Chardonnay -17 Euro. If you take one of the western countries you try just to by the fish and the wine in a supermarket you will pay more. 5. Facit - there are a few restaurants in Brasov that claim to provide fine dining, Mediterra has better food , atmosphere and prices. Highly recommend
