I placed an order for take away. The staff seemed very friendly and polite. Ordered for a large chicken platter, a burger and one desert, so I had to wait a bit for it to be ready. The prices are reasonable for the location. However, the wait was worth it. All the things I ordered were absolutely delicious. The burger was HUGE. The only reason for which I am only giving 4 stars is because I wasn't allowed to pay by card.

Be careful on what you order, the pizza was excellent but pastas and fish and chips were a disappointment. I ordered fish, chips and onion rings but I receive no onion rings and the sauce was missing. The pastas were more like a soup
An amazing food with super nice people. Since today it's my best spot in Brasov. Definitely i will come back to Beraria Porta sau Foame! ️

This is the beer house of Brasov. The local beer Ciucas is light and tasty, the house plate with all kinds of meet is perfect with the beer. Not a fancy place, but normal for a brewery. During pandemic the space between tables is more than enough, all the special measures are respected. The personal was very friendly. Overall is a perfect place to enjoy a beer with friends.
I've been there everytime I got to Brasov. The food is delicious, the prices are good and the staff is polite, open to joke around and warns you about their big portions of food so you don't order more than you can eat. Not a big fan of their pastas but otherwise very satisfied. The photo is from last trip.
I was disappointed in the overall attitude of most of the serving staff. Other than one young girl that was busy taking care of all the table, the rest of them were busy joking around, giggling, pretending to work or just avoiding customers. Other than that, the food was good, it came really fast, like 5 minutes after I ordered, even though the places wasn't empty.
