It was nice, but the castle was under construction, so we saw only the exterior.

An amazing relaxing place full of history and green nature!

C

The castle is nice but it cannot be visited inside to see the rooms and how people lived there. It is like a simple park as you can visit only the backyard and see the buildings only from outside.

The castle is under renovation, it will be beautiful but for the moment there isn't much to see. Entrance is 10 lei

Amazing festival! Honestly, we came for just a day but it was incredibly worth it! If we weren't graduating, we'd come again next year!

Not much to see. Became famous for the amazing Electric Castle festival

Nice place to spend some time outdoors relaxing, but the castle needs to be restored. They are hosting the Electric Castle festival every year and part of the profit goes to restoring the castle, but it feels like measures need to be taken urgently.

Known nowadays as the HQ of the Electric Castle music festival organized here during summers, the castle and its grounds are open for visiting all year round for the price of 8 lei. The now mostly ruined buildings can be visited inside and tourists have the opportunity of reading about the history and architecture of the place on info boards. There is a café offering refreshments and ice cream where you can sit back and relax, all the while philosophically pondering the advanced state of decay of this so-called “Versailles of Transylvania” (seriously, where does the money go?). The grounds are also pet-friendly, so don’t hesitate to bring them along.
