The Freedom Field from Blaj is where the Great Assembly was held in Blaj, Alba county in 1848. Now the field was transformed in nice place for a walk, jog or stroll. It has also a playground for children. Take your time to see all the 26 statues.

A lovely spot for a walk or a run, regardless of the time of day. Moreover, it's a suitable place for either bringing your children for a walk or some outside fun activities, having a picnic or walking your dog, since there's a lot of grass and benches all over th place. There are also several boards filled with historical facts and statues of people who had brought change to the the country's destiny.

A beautiful and quiet place to relax and stroll around. However, absolutely all the benches are covered in staples so you have to be very careful if you don't want to rip your clothes. Someone should definitely remove them to make them safe for use. Otherwise, they are a huge hazard.
